         Product Manager/Owner: 5 years experience managing enterprise and consumer software products (full life-cycle) both externally with customers and internally with design/engineering teams. (2013 – Present) Founder at ‘Vivos’ (

          Founder of an innovative recruitment start-up that raised seed investment from Enterprise Ireland and NDRC (Launchpad accelerator program – rated #3 in Europe) and secured enterprise customers such as Ryanair.

          Vivos empowers people to discover and achieve the career that is the best-fit for their unique blend of skills, talents, passions and preferences. Vivos empowers companies to quickly discover & hire people that will be the best-fit for their bespoke requirements resulting in better company performance while reducing recruitment and attrition costs.

          Vivos is a SaaS product built on the Google Cloud Platform: A Java server-side app and multiple AngularJS client apps on AppEngine, using Cloud Datastore and Cloud Endpoint APIs. The intelligent matching algorithm is built in Matlab and runs on Compute Engine.


(2011 – 2013) Co-Founder at ‘Deal Effect’ (

          Co-founder of a charity fundraising platform that raised €260K seed funding to achieve a successful launch in Ireland with over 5,000 subscribers and 250 charities.

          ‘Deal Effect’ utilises an innovative twist on the proven daily-deals business model to create a new revenue model for the charity sector by tapping into their vast supporter networks in return for an 11% share of gross sales.

          The first licensee is operating under the auspices of ‘The Wheel’ umbrella organisation to the Irish charity sector.


(2011 – 2013) Director at Osgo Solutions (

          Co-founder and director of an SME providing cloud-based web application solutions as a professional service to a broad range of clients.

          Intrapreneur and Product Manager responsible for the business development of spin-out start-up ventures including the two described above (‘Deal Effect’ and ‘Vivos.Me’).


(2009 – 2011) Business Owner at ‘Outside-The-Box’

          Business Owner of a multimedia SME providing the following professional services: web development, design, photography and videography.

          Invented the service package of ‘fun photos’ (with props) on a white background common in most weddings today.


(2008 – 2010) Lecturer in Senior College Dun Laoghaire (Computer Programming & Relational Databases)

          Part-time Lecturer (one year contract) of two separate third-level classes (25 students in each) in Computer Programming and Relational Databases (MySQL).

          Part-time One-to-one tutor (for 3 years) teaching various languages/subjects (PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc).


(2007 – 2008) Consulting Engineer at Buro Happold Consulting Engineers

          Consulting Engineer within the context of a multidisciplinary design team on a large range of construction projects (Hotels, Restaurants, Pubs, Apartments, Leisure Centres, etc) including the ‘Point Village’ in Dublin, Ireland.

          Responsibilities included: Site surveys, preparing reports, designing of mechanical & electrical building services solutions, preparation of tender drawings/documentation, directing technicians, liaising with clients/project managers/design team/suppliers/contractors, supervision of subcontractors during construction, overseeing subcontractors’ accounts (assessing payment claims, variations and issuing payment recommendations/final accounts), issuing compliance certificates.


(2005 – 2007) Consulting Engineer at JAK Consulting Engineers

          Consulting Engineer. Responsibilities as per Buro Happold description above on similar projects of a lesser value.


(2004 – 2004) Process Engineer at Holcim Ltd. (Puttalam, Sri Lanka).

          Process Engineer focusing on bringing improvements in efficiency to the cement manufacturing process.



          Interests include: Technology, World-Travel, Multimedia (e.g. Photography, Videography, etc), Playing Guitar and Ukulele, Mountain Biking, Motorsports (e.g. Karting), Snowboarding and Scuba-diving:

o         Compete in the Motorsport Ireland RotaxMax Kart Racing Championship.

o         Created many music videos for various bands.

o         Successful in the ‘PADI open water scuba-diving licence’ written & practical exams.

o         Completed an ‘International Development’ course in UCD, Dublin, Ireland.

o         Created promotional videos for charities around the world (e.g. Calcutta, Nepal, Dublin).

o         Voluntary leader of camps for children and adults with disabilities and disadvantaged backgrounds.

o         Champion of Coder Dojo for young people in Shankill, Co. Dublin.
